Carolyn Dibos

Welcome to Mrs. Dibos’s Second through Fifth Grade

Hi! My name is Carolyn Dibos and I am in my 33rd year of teaching at First Good Shepherd. I grew up in Yankton, South Dakota and graduated from Concordia Teacher’s College in Seward, Nebraska with a math emphasis in elementary education and school music minor. After three years teaching in south Florida, I moved to Las Vegas and taught at Faith Lutheran for three years before coming to FGS. I currently teach third through sixth grades. I also direct the school music class.

I enjoy cooking and baking, collecting recipes, and listening to music. My husband of 39 years, Wayne, retired from FGS in 2018. My son, William, is an alumni of FGS and Faith Lutheran schools, and is married to Amanda Moss, also a Faith alumni. Both of them are small business franchisees, OxiFresh carpet cleaning and LulaRoe clothing. Our pride and joy is Pepper Elizabeth Dibos, our granddaughter who turned 4 in May!

I thank God for all the blessings in my life and look forward to continuing my service to Him at FGS.
