First Good Shepherd Lutheran School Kindergarten

Welcome to Mrs. Sprouse’s Kindergarten!

     This is my fourteenth year of teaching kindergarten at First Good Shepherd Lutheran School. I have a Liberal Arts degree from Victor Valley Junior College; I graduated from UNLV with a BS in Elementary Education with an area of concentration in math, at Concordia University in Irvine I received my colloquy. I enjoy working with the little ones and they inspire me everyday. I cannot wait each year to get a new set of lambs with all of their energy and anticipations of going to "school!"

     Each year I stay connected to the older children at our school by sponsoring a trip outside of the school walls alternating between Washington D.C. and the Grand Canyon. Although this keeps me very busy, my most important job is being a mom to two active boys. My boys both graduated from Faith Lutheran Jr. /Sr. High School in Las Vegas. I attend many Faith activities and cheer for many of my former students, as well as watch how they grow and share God's love.

     My oldest, Lucas, is in his senior year at Concordia University Chicago; he is pursuing a teaching degree in secondary education to become a Lutheran teacher. My youngest, Al, has joined the Navy, and will be leaving for boot camp this fall.

Kindergarten Classroom

Now that my house is a little quieter, I plan on enjoying my extra time reading, working on arts and crafts, and relaxing. I play handbells at church with Joyful Noise, the church’s adult handbell choir, am an active Lutheran Women's Missionary League member; I enjoy Bible study, ushering and greeting on Sundays at church.
