First Good Shepherd Preschool Director Meet Miss Pam Ufer As the Preschool Director, I believe that 2 ½, 3, and 4 year old children should be treated and respected as such.  They should be allowed to play, run, and learn at their own pace.  This is done through age appropriate and developmentally appropriate toys, games, and activities. I believe children should have a spiritual background and base.  This allows appreciation of all God has created including other people, the world around them, and themselves. Inside our classrooms children will have a variety of centers to choose from.  Some of which are a block center to help promote math skills, a dramatic play center for social skills, and role play, and a library center. Jesus Time is daily and Preschool Chapel is once a week.  After their first chapel, the children receive their own Bible.  Children’s outside environment consists of a sand area, a climbing structure, and a bike path. Although parents are always welcome in the classroom, we have scheduled parent/teacher chats twice per year. Email Miss Pam at pufer@fgsls.org
