First Good Shepherd Fall Carnival and Spring Picnic
Fall Carnival
Each year First Good Shepherd presents a fall carnival. The carnival is completely sponsored by the Parent Teacher League (PTL). This fall evening offers games, food, fellowship, an auction, a chili cook-off, a cake walk, and a ton of fun for all that participate! Everybody is welcome!

Spring Picnic
The school picnic is held in late April or very early May. This is a fun day out in the fresh air and sun. The children in kindergarten and first grade team up together and participate in crazy relay races.
The second through sixth grades all come together to participate in a huge relay competition. Each team is made of students in each grade so as to make things even and fair. The relay races include events such as: three-legged race, sack race, beans on a spoon race, and many more. The kids laugh, the parents laugh, and it is a great time had by all.
A yummy lunch is served following the races. A few classes team up and play a friendly game of kickball while parents sit back relax and enjoy the show.
The day concludes with the annual sixth grade egg toss and of course, we have a giant sing along with Mr. Krafft! This is a day you don’t want to miss!
