First Good Shepherd Band We offer a full band program to the children in third through sixth grades. Our band director is Mrs. Christine Velotta. She works with the children in small group settings as well as whole group settings three days a week. The children participate in band during the school day and at an early bird class on Friday morning. Our band performs several times a year. They are usually featured before one of our school musicals and again in February at our Parent Teacher League meeting. The band members also have an opportunity to perform with a mass band at the annual Fine Arts Festival in March.
